Some useful links on borrowing books from the Library

The  Library Catalogue enables you to find out if the Library has particular books or journals, or to identify resources available on a subject by keyword.   Print books relating to Physics are mainly located on Floor 2 of the Main Library at 530-539.     Some are also available as e-Books via the library catalogue.

A book in high demand may be placed in the High Use Book machine borrowable for 3 hours.   The machine is located in the library foyer. 

Dictionaries, Encyclopaedias, Handbooks, Statistics and other reference works can be an invaluable starting point for your research or study also providing ready-reference access to factual information, for example;

Books in the Library have different loan periods:

• 1 Day Loan
• 3 Day Loan
• Standard (borrower category dependent)
